Stud Electrodes have an insulated sleeve to protect studs and screws from arcing during the weld process. The inside and outside of the insulated sleeves are treated to 55HRC for added wear resistance. They are available with various hole diameters, and the sleeves are available in several depths. All Stud Electrodes have a 5RW taper and a copper/tungsten face to withstand the higher force used for projection welding. They have wrench flats to aid in removal.
